This one-day tour to Machu Picchu starts with a drive from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, followed by a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes. From there, take a bus to Machu Picchu for a 2-hour guided tour of the citadel, including its agricultural terraces and panoramic views. After lunch in Aguas Calientes, return by train to Ollantaytambo and drive back to Cusco.

The one-day tour to Machu Picchu was created especially for all visitors who arrive in our country of Peru and then go to the City of Cusco, which is the point where their Adventure will begin. Very early in the morning our guide along with his driver will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel to first go to the Ollantaytambo station, which we will arrive after two hours of travel, of course during the trip we will be able to appreciate one of the most beautiful and fascinating views of the famous Sacred Valley of the Incas, once here we will take the tourist train that will take us along the slope of the Urubamba River surrounded by a beautiful chain of granite mountains, immeasurable vegetation full of bromeliad orchids and native trees of the area once in a while. our destination, the town of Aguas Calientes, here we will take the bus that will take you to the beautiful Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, 30 minutes on the bus, after which your guide will be in charge of showing you the high agricultural terraces from where we will have the panoramic view of this beautiful Inca city, after taking many photos. , after which we will begin our 2-hour tour inside, visiting the most attractive places, we will take the bus back to Machu Picchu town to have lunch before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo Where our driver will be waiting for us to bring you back to the city of Cusco.

Itinerary

5:30 am pick up from your hotel to the station in the town of Ollantaytambo.
8:00 am on board the train with a duration of approx. 1h and 45min.
10:00 am the bus is boarded to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
10:45 am entry and start of your private tour inside the Inca Citadel.
1.30pm return to Aguas Calientes town and free time for lunch.
16:00 hrs entrance to the train station to return to the town of Ollanta and once you arrive at the town your transport will be waiting for you to transport you to your hotel.

OPTIONAL WALK TO MACHU PICCHU:

If you are interested, we can organize a hike for you (as long as permits are available for your specific date) to Huayna Picchu Mountain or Machu Picchu Mountain. These walks take approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete, but if this is the case, we will have to start the trip earlier in Cusco around 3:00 a.m. or 4:00 a.m. because the permits are only for morning walks.
