Detailed Travel Itinerary with Amazing Andean Adventures
After the International flight from Home you will arrive in Lima, where our representative will be waiting for you and transfer you to your hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel Wyndham at the Airport.
This day you will take a morning flight to Cusco. Here you’ll meet our best guide that we use during your tour to Machu Picchu, who will accompany you throughout your tour. We will begin our journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be at the llama farm, here you will have the chance to admire Llamas, Alpacas, and Vicuñas. After short stop at the Taray view point from where we will take pictures of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, your tour will take you past Inca terracing of Pisaq, another amazing Inca City. After our visit, we will have time to explore the colorful Market, with one of the best textile markets. Lunch in the town them we will continue visiting the town of Ollantaytambo visit the temple of the Sun and explore the town of Ollantaytambo them we will check in at your hotel.
Overnight at Pakaritampu, or similar.
Morning walk from your hotel to the train station, where you will take train to the Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes) at 7000 ft. The scenery during the ride down the Urubamba Valley changes from mountain vegetation to cloud forest. Arrival at the train station after 2 hours, we will take a half hour bus ride that will bring you to the mountain citadel of Machu Picchu (8,040 ft.). Once here, your Guide will give you a nice guided tour in this beautiful Inca city visiting the most important places after we will return to Aguas Calientes free time for lunch them we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo town where our driver will be waiting for us and take us to Cusco.

Return to your Hotel.

We were recommended this company by our neighbor. Ruben/Juan was great with questions and provided a lot of valuable information as I was planning parts on my own instead using a set tour, partially due to wanting to climb one of the optional peaks which you need to book months in advance. We then hit a snag with my wife’s passport and Ruben happily rearranged the tour for us even though we gave last minute notice.
Our tour guide Wagner met us where the bus dropped us of (can be arranged to pick up from your hotel as well), and we spent the next two hours learning a lot about the history of the site and he took us away from the crowds, and accommodated our photos requests. After we hung around and explored on our own until it was time to leave….
