The special Machu Picchu tour will take you to all the highlights of Peru. The 7 day tour will let you experience the town of Lima, the city of kings during the colonial times, with its beautiful architecture. Afterwards, you will take a morning flight to Cusco, where your guide and private transportation will meet you at the airport. You will go directly to the Sacred Valley, where the elevation is lower than Cusco, that will allow you to slowly adjust to the high altitude. The following day you will tour the Sacred Valley and see many of the sites available there. Another day, we will visit the magnificent citadel of Machu Picchu. Before you depart back to Lima, we will explore the capitol of the Inca Empire, the beautiful city of Cusco. Travelers of all ages can enjoy this tour.

Machu Picchu Special
After the International flight from Home you will arrive in Lima, where our representative will be waiting for you and transfer you to your hotel. Stay overnight at Casa Andina Hotel, or Similar.
The morning will begin with a Lima city tour. With more than 2000 years of history. The tour will begin at 8:00 a.m., where your guide will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel. Our first stop will be at the 17th century Monasterio de San Francisco complex with its magnificent tiles, ornately carved ceilings, exceptional paintings, the catacombs and a world-renowned library.
Then we will visit the La Plaza Major de Lima, here we will see the Presidential house, the Archbishop church, the Cathedral and then you will have some free time to enjoy lunch on your own. Afternoon transfer to the Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco.
Once you arrive in Cusco well drive toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas, firts stop will be at the llama farm, here you will have the chance to admire the different species of South American Camelot such as Llamas, Alpacas, and Vicuñas.
After which we will make a short stop at the Taray view point from where we will take pictures of the Sacred Valley of the Incas then we’ll transfer you to your hotel in Pisaq Town.

This morning we will pick you up from your hotel and begin the tour visiting the archeological site of Pisaq, with panoramic views of the jagged granite peaks. Afterwards, we´ll continue the tour by stopping at Pisaq, the best textile market in the Andes. There, you’ll be able to look for souvenirs and learn about the local culture, have lunch, and then we will have a beautiful ride along the Sacred Valley to our next stop, Ollantaytambo. A Beautiful Inca town with original Inca water channels and an impressive sacred site, built over the hill with giant pink granite stones brought from a quarry 5 miles away and Inca farming terraces. Ollantaytambo is at 9,200ft. This is a where you will spend the night.
Overnight: Hotel Pakaritampu, or similar.
This morning we will pick you up from your hotel, and transfer you to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will take the Vistadome train to the Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes) at 7000 ft. The scenery during the ride down the Urubamba Valley changes from mountain vegetation to cloud forest. After a 2-hour train ride, you will arrive at the train station, check in to the Hotel and then have Lunch. After which we will take a half hour bus ride that will bring you to the mountain citadel of Machu Picchu travel(8,040 ft.). Once here, your Guide will give you an afternoon tour at the Citadel, then you will return to Aguas Calientes town by bus at time of your choice. Overnight in the town of Aguas Calientes, at El Mapi Hotel or similar.
On our second day at Machu Picchu you will have the option to relaxing morning and a visit the Hot Springs located in the town, or the opportunity to climb to the famous Huayna Picchu peak or the Sacred Machu Picchu peak for a view of the entire Inca City. Another option could be a visit to the Sun Gate and Inca Suspension. Lunch at the town of Aguas Calientes before the train ride back to the Sacred Valley our driver will be waiting for us to drives us back to Cusco.

This tour will begin in the morning where your Guide will pick you up from the lobby of your Hotel at 8:00 a.m. and take you on a magical excursion to some of Cusco’s famed highlights.
Starting with the Archeological site of Sacsayhuaman with its megalithic stone walls; Qenqo, with its carved stone surfaces and subterranean altars; and the water temple Tambo Machay.
Then we will visit the market San Pedro, where you will experience the market where the local people do their daily shopping for fruits, vegetables and meats and they have a chance to enjoy the local cuisine. From here we will venture on to Qoricancha, located at the Santo Domingo convent and church.
Our last stop will be the basilica Cathedral, with its impressive oil paintings and wooden altars carved from cedar. Then we will return you back to your hotel. Overnight at Casa Andina Hotel or Similar.

We were recommended this company by our neighbor. Ruben/Juan was great with questions and provided a lot of valuable information as I was planning parts on my own instead using a set tour, partially due to wanting to climb one of the optional peaks which you need to book months in advance. We then hit a snag with my wife’s passport and Ruben happily rearranged the tour for us even though we gave last minute notice.
Our tour guide Wagner met us where the bus dropped us of (can be arranged to pick up from your hotel as well), and we spent the next two hours learning a lot about the history of the site and he took us away from the crowds, and accommodated our photos requests. After we hung around and explored on our own until it was time to leave….
